Madimack Glass Filter Media
To maintain optimal performance of your pool filtration system using Madimack Glass Filter Media, please follow these guidelines:
Filtering:
- Operate the filter as usual for standard filtration and routine vacuuming tasks.
Backwashing:
- Initiate a backwash when the pressure gauge indicates a rise of 0.7 kg/cm² above the initial startup pressure.
- Turn off the pump and set the valve to the “BACKWASH” position.
- Restart the pump and run it until the water in the sight glass appears clear, which typically takes about 2 minutes or less, depending on the level of debris.
- After backwashing, proceed to the rinse step.
Rinsing:
- Turn off the pump and set the valve to the “RINSE” position.
- Restart the pump and let it run for approximately 30 seconds.
- Turn off the pump again and set the valve back to the “FILTER” position to resume normal operation.
